Though Alma Animal Tulum provides shelter to the animals most in need, we still need people willing to foster so no animals are ever turned away due to lack of space. Without caring, open-minded, and patient homes, our shelter cannot fully carry out our mission or accomplish our goals. As a foster parent, you are giving a rescue dog or cat a new lease on life! By providing a temporary home for one of our animals, you are agreeing to care for that animal for 7 days or longer. WHAT DOES ALMA ANIMAL TULUM PROVIDE

All we ask of our foster homes is to give love, patience, and understanding to their foster pet. In an effort to make fostering as easy as possible and ensure that our foster homes have everything they need, we provide the following:

Food
Litter
Leash/Collar/Harness
Medications (when needed)

As with our adoptive homes, we always try to the best of our ability to match the foster animal to the foster home. We will always take into consideration you, your lifestyle, and other members of your household, before asking you to foster a specific pet. All dogs and cats are temperament tested prior to heading to your home so we typically have a good idea of each animal’s personality and needs.
